Notification of Results
The process of informing the stakeholders about the results of the BGCSE is not a complicated one. When the results are released to the public a press release/statement that entails all the information on how the candidates can obtain their results, examinations statistics is prepared and submitted to the Department of Information, and Broadcasting, who in turn informs the public over Radio Botswana and Botswana Television about the results.

After issuing press statement, Examinations, Research and Testing Division transports the results to the Regional Education Offices where schools will be expected to collect them. The consignment comprises the results slips for individual candidates, explanatory notes on the results to candidates and Results Broadsheet and syllabus results and component grade sheets.

For the Private Candidates, the Division send the results slips to individual candidates
